Meet our founder

Audrey Ouaknine, erg, MSc

Audrey graduated with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from McGill University in 2017. Throughout her practice, Audrey has supported adults and seniors living with a wide range of health conditions. Her experience includes working with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, those managing neurological conditions (stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries), and clients experiencing cognitive changes related to mild cognitive impairment.

She founded WellNest to offer a more personalized and flexible approach to the care she was giving to her patients, one that focuses on promoting independence and comfort at home. She believes that meaningful and long-term recovery happens when therapy is integrated into real routines and real environments. Her practice emphasizes collaboration with patients and their families creating individualized plans in order to maximize safety and independence in daily activities. In her spare time, Audrey enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, skiing, and baking.
