    This includes an evaluation of your mobility and a walk-through of your home with you to identify ways to improve safety in each area. You will receive guidance on how to lower the risk of falls and support your independence at home. After the visit, you will be given a written report outlining personalized equipment and environment modification recommendations

  • The occupational therapist will support your safe return to daily activities after surgery by assessing your functional abilities, adapting your home environment, teaching practical strategies, and recommending equipment to promote your recovery and independence.

  • The occupational therapist will complete the evaluations and interview process to fill out the forms required.

  • This service includes helping individuals manage symptoms more optimally related to their condition. This can include application of energy conservation techniques, usage of adaptive equipment, modification of daily habits, and cognitive strategies so independence can be optimized and quality of life improved.

    Therapy can be done in person or virtually, depending on tolerance level.

  • Guidance and education for caregivers who want to feel more confident and prepared to help their loved ones. This can include helping with self-care tasks (i.e, hygiene, dressing, grooming), safe transfers, and mobility techniques to prevent injuries.
